Getting started
Do I need to be a full-time real estate agent?
Nope! Agents are our sweet spot, but we also welcome loan officers, title reps, stagers, TCs, and brokerage owners. If your world revolves around helping people buy or sell homes, you're probably a great fit.
What if I'm not posting every single day?
Totally fine! We're not looking for daily posts — just consistency. As long as you're actively showing up on social and building your brand, you're good. Quality over quantity, always.
Does it cost anything to join?
Not a penny. Applying is free, joining is free, and earning commissions is free. This program is designed to put money in your pocket, not take it out.
How quickly will I hear back?
We try to get back to every application within 48 hours. If a few business days go by and you haven't heard from us, just shoot us an email at hello@marketdwellings.com and we'll get right on it.
Earnings + payouts
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts happen on the 1st of every month. Once your balance hits $50, it gets sent automatically to the account you set up when you joined. If you're under $50, no worries — it just rolls over to the next month.
Can I use my own discount code on my own orders?
Your affiliate code is just for your audience — but don't worry, we've got you covered! When you're approved, we'll send you a separate personal shopping code so you get 10% off your own orders too. Best of both worlds.
What if someone clicks my link but doesn't buy right away?
You're still covered! Once someone clicks your link, you get credit for any purchase they make within the next 30 days. And if they use your code at checkout, that works anytime.
What about taxes?
Since you're earning commissions as an independent creator, if you make $600 or more in a calendar year, you'll receive a 1099-NEC by the end of January. Just make sure your info is up to date in your dashboard and you're all set.
The program
Do I have to post a certain number of times?
Nope! There are zero posting requirements. We want you to share when it feels natural and when a product genuinely fits your content. One real, authentic post is worth more than ten forced ones.
Can I leave the program anytime?
Of course! Just email hello@marketdwellings.com and we'll take care of it. If you have a balance over $50, we'll make sure that gets paid out on the next monthly cycle.
Do I need to mention the partnership in my posts?
Yes — this one's important! A quick #ad, #sponsored, or something like "I'm a @marketdwellings creator" is all it takes. It keeps everything transparent with your audience (and it's required by law). Easy peasy.
